40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life is an intensive effort designed to raise awareness, save lives,
bring healing, and lead our nation to repentance for the sin of abortion through
three components: Prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil, and community outreach.
Hundreds of cities nationwide and internationally join in simultaneous prayer
and vigils. It is based on the Scripture, 2 Chron.7:14:
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and
pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
In Syracuse, Christians unite in prayer each fall and spring and
conduct a peaceful prayer vigil in front of Syracuse Planned
Parenthood, from 7:00am-7:00pm, each day of the campaign. For more

The Healing Rooms of Greater Syracuse
The Healing Rooms is a not-for-profit ministry that has one purpose,
to pray for those who need God's healing touch. We have seen God do wonderful things
in response to prayer. If you are plagued with negative post-abortive thoughts or
have any type of infirmity, prayer can help. We operate with 50+ volunteers from 30+ churches in the Greater Syracuse Area. The Healing Rooms is a member of the International Association of Healing Rooms.
Respect Life Ministry
The Office of Respect Life Ministry for the Syracuse Roman Catholic Diocese seeks to
educate, inform and resource the people of the Syracuse Diocese regarding the value
and dignity of human life. We do this through offering talks on pro-life issues, sending action alerts and
encouraging advocacy concerning pro- or anti-life legislation,
responding through Project Rachel (a post-abortive healing ministry) and providing pro-life events and resources.
Transformation Syracuse/CNY
Transformation Syracuse/CNY is dedicated to fulfilling
the mandate set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:14, in order to usher in revival and transformation to this area. This Scripture tells us
that if God's people
(every denomination that names the Name of Jesus), will come together in unity
and humility to pray and repent of corporate sin (such as abortion)
and seek His face, that God will hear our prayers and heal our land.
This is accomplished through quarterly non-denominational
prayer, praise and worship gatherings
at various churches throughout the CNY area.
