FRIENDS FOR LIFE, Inc. is a independent volunteer educational organization working through education to safeguard the life of every human being from conception to natural death. Friends For Life Inc. offer a wide range of informational and educational services to the community:
The Greater Syracuse Association of Evangelicals exists to unite publicly, across denoninational and other lines, to stand for the Gospel by a regular schedule of meetings. It is also the purpose of GSAE to engage in joint evangelical witness to the larger community.
New Hope Family Services is a pro-life Christian ministry that reaches out to those with pregnancy, parenting, adoption and post-abortion needs. All services are free and confidential, including pregnancy tests, options counseling, childbirth education, baby items, adoption services, post-abortion counseling and abstinence education. Please visit our website for contact information and upcoming events.
Priests for Life has come to signify two distinct but related movements within the wider pro-life movement. On one level, as described below, Priests for Life refers to a very specific effort to galvanize the clergy to preach, teach, and mobilize their people more effectively in the effort to end abortion and euthanasia. On another level, Priests for Life represents a family of ministries that reach and enrich every aspect of the pro-life movement, for clergy and laity alike, in a wide variety of activities.
Anglican Priests for Life is open for membership to all Priests of the Anglican tradition who support the cause of the sanctity of life through daily witness and prayer. It is asked that our members serve in the pro-life movement with diligence in prayer and witness. We are a movement of peace and request that you daily pray one of our prayers listed on our web page or one that is similar. Priests for Life make a commitment to always include at each Mass a prayer for the unborn. Our Priests preach at least twice a year on the cause, including on pro-life Sunday in January.
The Office of Respect Life Ministry for the Syracuse Roman Catholic Diocese seeks to educate, inform and resource the people of the Syracuse Diocese regarding the value and dignity of human life. We do this through offering talks on pro-life issues, sending action alerts and encouraging advocacy concerning pro- or anti-life legislation, responding through Project Rachel (a post-abortive healing ministry) and providing pro-life events and resources.
We endeavor to educate and raise local awareness that human life is still being destroyed at the rate of about 24,000 each week in our United States of America via our New York State Fair booth, our local annual Life Chain, our local annual March for Life, our High School Student Oratorical Contest, and our annual Bus to Washington for the National March.
The mission of the New York State Right to Life Committee, Inc. is to engage in educational, charitable, and scientific projects or purposes including specifically, but not in limitation of, the foregoing: Primarily to present fully-detailed and factual information upon which individuals and the general public may make an informed decision about the various topics of fetal development, abortion, alternatives to abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide; to reaffirm the principle that all human beings are created equal and are endowed at creation with certain fundamental rights, among which is the right to life; to advocate the right to life of dependent and helpless human beings, including the unborn child; to promote legal, political, social and cultural reforms designed to ensure both the right to life and human dignity to dependent and helpless human beings; to engage in all legitimate activities intended to facilitate the attainment of the above-referenced purposes.
